After a retrofit, the control system consists of an Omron/Delta Tau Advantage 500 with Turbo PMac, an internal or external PC with Windows CE or Windows 10 operating system. The Delta Tau Advantage includes both the CNC and PLC areas and replaces the old NC/CNC controls and the old PLC.

For stepper motor machines, at the customer’s request or depending on availability from the manufacturer, the existing stepper motor drive is retained unchanged and thoroughly overhauled. For example, older Walter Helitronic machines are equipped with stepper motor drives from Zebotronic in Munich, which are still available in an updated form and can continue to be used without any problems.

If the old stepper motor drive is no longer available, it can be replaced with a modern stepper motor drive.

Optionally, the stepper motor system can be replaced with servo drives at your request.
