Walter Helitronic Power machines on NUMROTOplus® with Num Flexium system

In collaboration with NUM AG in Teufen, Switzerland, SOS-Elektronik is now offering a new type of retrofit for models in the Walter Helitronic Power series.
SOS-Elektronik’s many years of experience and NUM’s modern, compact drive and control components ensure perfect results. Together with NUMROTOplus® software, which has revolutionized the grinding world for years, it is now possible to use somewhat outdated Walter Power series machines with the latest technology and the best grinding software available.
With optimizations like “grinding wheel measuring probes,” a Power machine from the late 1990s can meet today’s standards. However, this requires a retrofit.

SOS-Elektronik offers two variants for retrofitting to NUMROTOplus®:

NUMROTOplus® retrofit at the customer's site

If it is not possible to send the machine to SOS-Elektronik in Wasserburg on Lake Constance, the SOS-Elektronik team will come to the machine. A mechanic for approx. 2 weeks and an electrician for approx. 1 week. All moving mechanical parts will be replaced and the electrical/electronic system will be replaced by the NUM Flexium system.

NUMROTOplus® retrofit at SOS-Elektronik in Wasserburg am Bodensee

If possible, send the machine to SOS-Elektronik in Wasserburg, where it can be dismantled, cleaned, sandblasted, and recoated. With the retrofit from option 1, the machine will look “like new” — because it will be! Only the cast iron stand and the outer housing are “old” or rather, “aged.”

It is “new” or even better because a machine that is completely dismantled and rebuilt after 10–15 years has a “settled-relaxed” casting. If necessary, the machine will be freshly scraped and fitted with the latest precision-engineered parts, making it more precise and stable than the original.
