Retrofit 5-8 axis machines with servo drive
After a retrofit the Omron / Delta Tau control with Power PMac, an industrial PC with Windows 10 operating system, a servo drive system with absolute encoders and a modern soft SPS / PLC with safety functions. All components are communicating per EtherCat with COE protocol.
The original servo drives are replaced with Omron drives and motors with Hyperface absolute encoders. All mechanical reference-, limit- and E-Stop switches are becoming unnecessary. This system could also replace step motor systems as well.
To update the operator safety on a “Retrofit“ machine to today’s status, we only use certified safety devices like safety switches, safety PLC systems, zone safety devices.
